Obituary of Irene W. Cyrnak

Irene W. Cyrnak, age 89 of Whitehouse Station, NJ died Monday, March 26, 2007 at the Foothill Acres Nursing Home in Hillsborough, NJ. Irene was born in Palisades Park, NJ; she was the daughter of the late Anthony and Amelia Miernicki. She lived most of her life in Whitehouse Station. She had worked 18 years as a sales assistant for W.T. Grant & Company in Somerville. Irene was a former communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station and was a member of the Readington Township Senior Citizens Club. She was a loving wife and wonderful mother, who enjoyed gardening and playing the violin. Irene was predeceased by her husband, Frank J. Cyrnak who died in 1986 and her two sisters, Marie Czyzewski and Helen Isaksen. Irene is survived by her three children, Anthony Cyrnakof Colorado Springs, Co; Nancy Van Duyne of Flemington and Gloria Lanka of Bridgewater. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, March 28, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. A graveside service will be held on Thursday at 10:45 A.M. at the Rural Hill Cemetery in Whitehouse. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home at 10:00 A.M to offer final respects and join in the procession to the cemetery.
