Obituary of Louise C Bishop

Louise C Bishop, age 78 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Friday, May 11, 2007 at Hunterdon Medical Center surrounded by the comfort and love of her family. Born in Plainfield, NJ, Louise was the daughter of the late Michael Sr. and Marie Long. She married Donald Jay Bishop in 1952 and shared over 54 years of loving companionship. Louise lived in Middlesex for over 40 years prior to moving to Northwood, NH for 16 years and she returned to New Jersey in March of 2006. She was devoted to raising her children and only after they were grown did she take a job as a Shipping Clerk with Margrace Corp. in Middlesex, NJ until she retired in 1982. Prior to her illness, Louise enjoyed traveling and camping. But was most content just spending time with her grandchildren and family. She loved crocheting and playing games. Louise was predeceased by her brother Anthony Long and her sister Rosalie Frazee. Besides her husband Donald, Louise is survived by three sons: Chris of Clinton Township, Daniel of Paso Robles, CA, and Alan of Cypress, TX; two daughters: Roseanne Hahn of Houston, TX and Dawn Cannon of Bethlehem, PA; three brothers: Michael P Long Jr. of Plainfield, NJ, Jesse L.H. Long of Frenchtown, NJ, and John Long of South Bound Brook, NJ; two sisters: Betty Gyeski of Middlesex, NJ and Marion Barney of Las Vegas, NV. She is also survived by 12 adoring grandchildren: Ian, Jocelyn, Brandon, Bennett, Morgan, Amilee, Zachary, Nathan, Mackenzie, Cole, Danielle, and Hayley. Friends may visit with the family Monday, May 14, 2007 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home 103 Old Route 28, Whitehouse. Funeral liturgy will be celebrated Tuesday, May 15, 2007 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale. Burial will be private The family wishes that donations be made to the National Kidney Foundation, in lieu of flowers, because of the tremendous support the Foundation gave to Louise.
