Obituary of Janet Eick

Janet Eick, age 44, of Howard, PA and formerly of Whitehouse Station, died Thursday, May 24, 2007 at Mt. Nittany Medical Center in State College, PA. Born in Flemington, NJ, she was the daughter of Robert and Joan (Bush) Zylstra of Whitehouse Station. Janet was a 1980 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School in Flemington and earned her Associates Degree form Brandywine College in Delaware. She worked for Johnson & Johnson in Skillman, NJ before joining the family business as assistant manager of the Marroe Inn in Lawrenceville. On November 1, 1997, she married her husband, Jeff Eick and moved to Howard, PA where together they operated Jeffs Plumbing & Heating. Besides her parents, and her husband, Janet is survived by her brother, Robert L. Zylstra of Union Twp. NJ, her sister, Linda Seymour of Jutland, NJ and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, May 30, 2007 at 11:30 A.M. at the Readington Reformed Church, 124 Readington Road, Readington, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
