Obituary of Marian F. Sopko

Marian Florence Sopko, age 80 of Readington Twp. died Tuesday, May 29, 2007 peacefully at home with her daughter Gale at her side. Born in Scotch Plains, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Louis and the Evelyn Wyckoff. She had lived in Piscataway for 30 years before moving to Whitehouse Station in August of 2006. She was a waitress for Grunning's in South Plainfield for many years. She retired several years ago from Unisys Electronics in Flemington. She had also been a school bus driver for Kensington Bus Company until 2005. Marian was predeceased by her husband, Paul Sopko who died 1995. A sister Mabel Taylor also predeceased her. She is survived by her five children, Jeffrey Kruchkowski of Neshanic Station, Susan Kling of South Plainfield, Dale Fernandez of Kunkletown, PA, Gale V. Sopko and Donald Lotito of Readington and Paul David Sopko of Middlesex. She is also survived by her sister, Amy Young of Mobile, Alabama and her ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She will truly be remembered by Rachel, Ryan and April. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, June 2, 2007 at 10:00 am at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Rural Hill Cemetery, Whitehouse.
