Obituary of Ivan Pedranti
Ivan Pedranti, age 78 fromerly of Clifton and Lavallette, NJ, died Friday, October 5, 2007 at the Lyons Veteran Administration Hospital in Bernards Twp, NJ.
Born in Clifton, NJ, he was the son of the late Enrico and Anna Pedranti. He lived most of his life in Clifton before moving to Lavallette in 1990. He moved to Whitehouse Station 21/2 years ago.
Ivan served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans, Chapter 2, of Clifton.
He was in charge of the maintenance department, for 30 years, at the Clifton Public Library before retiring in 1980.
He was a member of the Clifton Elks Lodge No. 1569 and former communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Clifton.
Ivan is survived by his wife, Jean (Grabinski) Pedranti, three daughters, Susan Higgins of Bartonsville, PA; Denise Lejaua of Byram Twp; and Marcia Bujnowski of Whitehouse Station. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
Friends may visit with the family Monday, October 8, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Hwy. 28, Whitehouse, NJ.
A funeral liturgy will be celebrated Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 9:30 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station. Burial will be private.
