Obituary of Earl R. Richards

Earl R. Richards, age 79 of Tewksbury Twp., NJ, died Monday, October 8, 2007 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ. Born in Stroudsburg, PA, he was the son of the late Richard and Adelaide Richards. Earl had lived in Bernardsville before moving to Tewksbury Twp. 47 years ago. Earl served his country in the United States Army from 1946 to 1948. He was the Warehouse Supervisor for the VA NJ Health Care Systems at Lyons in Basking Ridge, where he worked for over 30 years before retiring in 1983. Earl was predeceased by his brother, Richard and sister, Marion Fry. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Patricia Richards, his 2 sons, Earl R. Richards, Jr. of Bridgewater, and Wayne G. Richards of Phillipsburg, his 2 daughters, Judy V. Marsters of Lebanon and Catherine L. Reed of Oldwick, his 3 brothers, William, Jack and Paul Richards and his four sisters, Elaine Antinnes, Margaret Ann Hollowbush, Jeanne Arbosheski and Bonnie Lenker. He is also survived by his 7 grandchildren, Barry, Jason and Nicole Reed, Amanda, Victoria and Alec Richards and Melanie Dominko-Richards, and his great grandson, Andrew Reed. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 12, 2007 at 11:00 AM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Somerset Hills Memorial Park, Basking Ridge.
