I worked with Shirley at C.R. Bard. I was a Guard there somewhere around 1985-86? Shirley was a pistol. Between her driver runs she would stop by the desk and chat with me which I always looked forward to.Imparting her wisdom and humor. I remember when she bought a brand new car. It was a Jeep Comanche Pickup truck. I thought it was really cool because I wanted one. Shirley liked to talk about traveling. I used to give her Car and Driver Magazines, Not for the Cars But they sometimes had stories about taking a car on a journey some place and the stories, Although a review of the car, talked about the places they traveled and she enjoyed that. Well here it is 2023 and I still remember her. For a time when I left C.R. Bard we stay in touch on the phone but eventually lost touch. RIP Shirley.

It was with sadness that we learned of Shirley's passing. She had cared for our pets in our home while we were away for many years. Because of her caring, they thrived and we always knew our home was in her capable hands. We had many conversations about what her dream home would be like, so we now hope she is sitting on the porch of a log home surrounded by the animals and people she loved and a large plentiful garden to view. We extend our sympathy to her sister and family (about whom she often spoke). We feel privileged to have known Shirley and had her in our lives.

My name is Sandy Nowak, i know your sister Shirley cause she was in the nursing home with my uncle Roche. She use to sit and eat breakfast, lunch and dinner with him. I got to know her. She always spoke of her sister and how she would bring her the paper and how she wished she could go back home and live in the apartment again. I liked Shirley a lot and will miss her. I know my uncle misses her. I just wanted to send my condolances and tell you what a nice sister you had. God bless you.
