We remember the good times and look forward to many more as a family.

Norine, I read these words by Abraham Lincoln and thought of you, "it's not the years in your life that count it's the life in your years". You didn't live a long life but I do think your life was filled with a geat sense of accomplishment and success. Your success was the kind felt in your heart and not measured by money or power. It's the tremendous pride in knowing that you brought Michael, Marc and Jennifer into this world and that you and Dennis devoted your lives to raise them. You had incredible inner strength especially these past 7 years juggling life's challenges and fighting a horrible disease. You didn't give up the battle even at the end you made hard decisions about your course of therapy with the hope of extending your life just a little while longer so that you could be here for your family. Norine, you'll surely be missed by many, and I really believe you had 'life in your years'. For me your passing is a real reminder that tomorrow is promised to no one and today is really the only day we have. Love, Joan

I thought I could possibly say something that would somehow help Dennis, Jennifer, Marc & Michael, but I cannot find the words; especially after reading the beautiful words left by Norine's husband and children. Your words to Norine touched me more than anything I could ever say; I have never been so moved by words. It says a lot about the people you have become because she was a presence and influence in your lives. My prayers are with all who have been touched by this angel who was loved by so many.

To all my friends and loved ones, miss me - But let me go....
When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rights in a gloom - filled room. Why cry for a soul set free.... Miss me a little - but not too long.... and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that we onced shared. Miss me.... but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must make and each must go it alone. It's all a part of God's plan....a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to friends we know and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds.....Miss me...but let me go.

You can shed tears that she is gone,
or you can smile because she has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that she'll come back,
or you can open your eyes and see all she's left.
Your heart can be empty because you can't see her,
or you can be full of the love you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.
You can remember her only that she is gone,
or you can cherish her memory and let it live on.
You can cry and close your mind,
be empty and turn your back.
Or you can do what she'd want:
smile, open your eyes, love and go on.

Norine,
God has finally lifted the cross from your weary shoulders; you are free at last. These were my last words to you when you passed. God has you now in heaven with all its grandeur. He has a part of my heart as well. I will never be the same without you.
During these past three months, I was helpless sitting by your bedside each day, praying for a miracle and wondering how much more could you take. No human being should have endured what you did. You were very sick, fighting for your life and more importantly to you, fighting for your three kids at home. Your children are what kept you in this battle despite the overwhelming odds against you. Without them you would have given up a long time ago.
Your doctors never thought you would live this long. What they didn't know or could quantify, is your overpowering love and dedication to your family. No medicine is this powerful! Cancer could never take that away from you. It could not silence your courage or shatter your dreams. It could not conquer your spirit or steal the memories from you. These things you will always have wherever your journey leads you.
Rest in peace my love, until we meet again. You are free at last.

Denis , Michael, Marc & Jennifer..
...just a note to express our deepest sympathy for your loss. Even though we never met Norine, Mom..we have come to know her through your Dad. She certainly was a 'special' lady. I suspect that we will come to know her even better when your Dad shares his memories with us. Even though she was here for such a brief moment in time she had a profound impact on those that knew her, knew of her, and those she loved.

I am certain that I was given the best of the best- the best being my mom. All these years I underestimated her strength. Little did I know she is one of the strongest people I will ever come across. She raised me to the best of her ability and taught me all I will ever need/want to know and more. She was my best friend & my hero. I love you <3
