I want to express fond memories that I have of visiting Uncle Bob during my summer vacations in NJ at their annual summer picnics at their home. It was so fun walking through the Pine forest, engaging Uncle BOB in conversation with my grandfather Fred. I will miss that generation of men. God bless Uncle Bob and let us continue to be there for Aunt Hilda and her family.
Chris.

Dear Hildy and family,
We were so sorry to hear that Bob passed away. There are many things that we would say but they are platitudes expressed by others and don't really help the way they are intended. Just know that our thoughts are with you at this time and in our hearts we hope that the healing of your sadness comes quickly and that the happy memories linger.

I will always remember Uncle Bob by his laugh, his quiet kindness and his love of cats. He would take us for a walk to his garden, which was very impressive I might add, when we came down for a picnic for many years in the summer. He made great lamb kobobs on the barbaque. He was great with my kids too. We will miss him.

Dear Hildy,
We were very saddened to read of Bob's passing in Wednesday's Courier. The whole band sends regrets to you. Bob was a valued member of the French Horn section of RVSB for so many years, and even after he was no longer able to play, you were much appreciated donors to our group. It was always a pleasure to greet you both at our concerts.
Please let me know when you will be having his memorial service and I will spread the word to our members.
If there is any way in which I can help you through this trying time, please let me know.
Fondly, Audre

I played golf with Bob at J&J in the Tuesday and Thursday golf league, I have good memories of how he loved the game and in spite of my lack of skill he always was willing to play. I also am a Johnson Medal receiptant and was and am still amazed on the knowledge Bob had in chemistry and the ability to discover and patent ideas. Best to your family people still care!!

My deepest condolences to Bob's wife and family. Please let me know when the celebration of his life will be held.
I met Bob shortly after I joined J&J Dental Products Co. in 1972 and was sent to Research to review the history of ADAPTIC Dental Restorative. Bob helped me extensively and then offered me the opportunity to transfer from Dental and work for him at Research. I chose instead to remain at Dental and thereby missed an opportunity to work with a great research chemist, something I often think of.
