Obituary of Judith Ulsten

Judith (Conlon) Ulsten, age 63 of Branchburg, NJ, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at the Center For Hope in Scotch Plains, NJ. Born in Hillside, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Dominic Conlon who died in 1998. She was raised and went to school in Plainfield, NJ before moving to Branchburg in 1993. Judy was a licensed hairdresser who owned Judys Beauty Salon in Hillside prior to working at The Clipper Hair Salon of Whitehouse Sta., NJ. Judy would relax by playing games of chance and took many adventurous trips to Atlantic City where she could be found playing the slots. On the quieter side, she would enjoy an evening here and there playing bingo. But what she loved most was spending time with her four year old grandson, who was the, Apple of her eye. She is survived by her daughter, Kara and her husband Timothy W. Pherson of Lopatcong, NJ, her Uncle, Charles and his wife Rose Mancuso of Springfield, NJ, two cousins; Marie Rispoli of Atlantic Highlands, NJ and Joan Kenny of Morristown, NJ. She is also survived by her loving grandson, Timothy W. Pherson Jr. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 29, 2008 at 2:00 pm at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. Friends may visit with the family prior to the service from 1:30 to 2:00 PM.
