Obituary of Francis M. Murphy

Francis Michael Murphy, age 74 of Clinton Twp., NJ died on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late William P. and Julia A. Murphy. He had lived in Elizabeth, NJ before moving to Clinton Twp., 31 years ago. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. Frank was an owner/operator truck driver for over 30 years. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. He also served as the Committee Chairman for the Boy Scouts Troop 288 of Annandale for many years. Besides his parents, Frank was also predeceased by his sister, Gail Kueng. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Julia Murphy and his son, Kevin Bruce Murphy and his wife, Dianne of Clinton Twp. He is also survived by his sister, Marie Colletto of Edison, NJ and his brothers, William Murphy of Flemington and Dennis Murphy of Pavo, GA. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at on Friday, June 13, 2008 at 9:30 AM, at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ Burial will be in Rural Hill Cemetery in Whitehouse.
