Obituary of Sylvia Hunt

Sylvia Hunt, age 76 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died on Sunday, June 15, 2008 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ. Born and raised in Raritan, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Brandina Talamini. Sylvia was a communicant of St. Anns Church in Raritan. She was a former member of the Readington Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary. She loved ballroom dancing, and had been an excellent ice skater and barrel jumper. She was an amazing cook and served many italian meals for her family and always out did herself when it came to Christmas dinner. She canned and jarred her own fruits and vegetables. She loved garage sales and collected antiques. Sylvia enjoyed reading, taking trips to Atlantic City and was a world traveler, visiting places like England, Italy, France, Germany and Switzerland. Sylvia is survived by her husband of 54 years, William F. Hunt Jr., her three sons, William F. Hunt III of Milford, NJ; Bradford Hunt of Whitehouse Station and Thomas Hunt of Stewartsville, NJ. She is also survived by her brother, Thomas Talamini of Tulsa, OK; her sister, Orsolina Alberghini of Raritan, NJ; and her four grandchildren, Jessica Hunt, William F. Hunt IV, Teresa Hunt and Christina Hunt and many nieces and nephews. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Friday June 20, 2008 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Anns Catholic Church, 45 Anderson Street, Raritan. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. Entombment will be at St. Bernards Cemetery, Bridgewater.
