Obituary of Edward S. Busher

Edward S. Busher, Sr., age 71 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Friday, August 1, 2008 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. Born in Somerville, NJ, he was the son of the late Walter and Lottie Busher. He had lived in Clinton before moving to Whitehouse Station in 1972. Edward served in the United States Army from 1960 to 1962 and was honorably discharged from the Army Reserves in 1966. He was a member of the Mahogany Ridge Sportsman Association, an honorary member of the Whitehouse Rescue Squad, a former member of Hunterdon County Taverns Association and a member of the Polish American Citizens Club in Whitehouse Station. Edward was a former farmer and contractor before becoming a restaurateur. He and his brother Steven owned and operated, The Wonderbar in Whitehouse for 40 years. Edward is survived by his wife of 44 years, Judith Busher, his 4 sons, Edward S. Busher, Jr. and his wife, Marianne of Pittstown, Mike Busher of Whitehouse Station, W. Scott Busher and his wife, Jill of Stockton and Charlie Busher of Whitehouse Station. He is also survived by his brother, Steven Busher and his wife, Dorothy of Clinton and his four grandchildren, Jake, Emily, Kyle and Matthew. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, August 4, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Annandale. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to the Whitehouse Rescue Squad, P.O.
