Obituary of Thomas W. Robson

Thomas W. Robson, age 74 of Bridgewater, NJ, died Friday, August 15, 2008 at his home. Born in Mount Vernon, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas and Anna Robson. Tom had lived in Flushing, NY before moving to Bridgewater 40 years ago. Tom served in the Army Quartermaster Corps during the Korean War and was a part of the Military Honors Detail. He was a plant supervisor for the New York Times in Edison, NJ for 14 years, before retiring in 2001. In his retirement years, Tom loved to garden and was an avid bird watcher. He loved nature and all of Gods creatures. Tom is survived by many special people; his wife, Marie Robson, Florence Leta and her family, his sister-in-law, Jeanne Giordano, his niece, Julie Memoli, his three nephews, Joseph, Steven and Matthew Giordano and 13 grandnieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Little Flower, 310 Plainfield Ave., Berkeley Heights, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 ( www.stjude.org/tribute).
