Obituary of Richard J Jarowicz

Obituary Information Dr. Richard J Jarowicz, age 75 of Whitehouse Station, died Monday, September 29, 2008 at home. Born in Newark, he was the son of the late Joesph and Sophie Jarosiewicz. Prior to moving to Whitehouse Station, Richard lived in Piscataway where he served on the Township Planning Board, the Board of Health and the Zoning Board. Richard married Marie Guglielmello in April of 1961. They enjoyed over 47 years of love and companionship. He served during the Korean War as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. Richard was a life member of the John Basilone Detachment of the Marine Corps League. Richard was a Clinical Psychologist who practiced for over 30 years in Counties of Union and Somerset. He received his Bachelors and Masters degrees from Seton Hall University, and his Doctorate in Psychology from Rutgers University. Richard was a member of the American Psychological Association, the New Jersey Psychological Association, and the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis. Additionally, he was an Adjunct Professor at Union and Middlesex County Colleges. Richard was predeceased by his two brothers, Ted and Henry, and his sister Josephine Polakowski. He is survived by his loving wife Marie, two sons; Richard Jr. and his wife Cheryl, of Kennebunk, ME and Joesph and his wife Helen, of Tewksbury Twp., two daughters; JanMarie Motz and her husband Bob, of Whitehouse Station and Donna Caldwell and her husband Frank, of Cranford, his sister Laura Konopczynski of Hackettstown, 14 adoring grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station, NJ. Friends may visit with the family Thursday, October 2, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, Ltd., 103 Old Highway, Whitehouse, NJ. Burial will be at Brigadier General Wm. C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery on Friday, October 3, 2008 at 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Sgt.
