Obituary of Nancy Maenza

Nancy Maenza, age 75 of Manchester Township, NJ. died Tuesday, November 4, 2008 at home. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Alice Carfello. Nancy had lived in Irvington and Warren prior to moving to Manchester Township seven years ago. Nancy worked as a bookkeeper for the family owned business, Stuyvesant Esso and then Stuyvesant Texaco. She was a member of Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Whiting. She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore Maenza and her sister, Mary Dougherty. Nancy is survived by her son Michael Maenza of Union, NJ, her daughter Elizabeth Systo of Whitehouse Station, NJ, 4 grandchildren, Joseph, Stefanie, Christopher and Megan and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 7 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. Burial will follow in the First Reformed Church Cemetery, Pompton Plains, NJ. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, November 6, from 3:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home 103 Old Highway, Whitehouse.
