Obituary of Alice M Cahill

Alice M Cahill, age 96 of Whitehouse, died Wednesday, November 12, 2008 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington. Born in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Catherine Gilligan. Formerly of Union City NJ., Alice lived in Whitehouse, NJ for 56 years A graduate of Katharine Gibbs Business School, Alice was a homemaker and a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. She was pre-deceased by her husband Daniel and her son James. Alice is survived by a son, Daniel J. Cahill and his wife Pat of Hampton, NJ a son, John Cahill and his wife Susan of Brown Summit, NC a daughter, Linda Scruggs of Whitehouse and a daughter-in-law, Leslie Cahill of Flemington, NJ. 9 grandsons and 6 great-grandchildren also survive her. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday November 15, 2008 at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. Entombment will be Saturday in St. Magdalen's Cemetery, Flemington.
