Obituary of Carl A Turner

Carl A Turner, age 91 of Whitehouse Station, NJ., died Friday, December 12, 2008 at the Hunterdon Care Center.He was born in Prague, Czech Republic on June 17, 1917, the son of the late Rudolf and Hedvig Turnovsky. Carl had lived in Whitehouse Station for 68 years. He was a Chemist for American Cyanamid Company. Carl was a member of the Rockaway Reformed Church where he sang in the Choir and served as an Elder. Upon retirement, he worked for Readington Township as a Percolation Test Inspector. Carl is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Turner, his daughter Susen Edwards and her husband Bob of Middlesex, NJ, and his niece Libi Kubickova. He was pre-deceased by his sister Vera Pulgritova. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 at 10:00 AM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway, Whitehouse, NJ.
