Obituary of Clementine Michalowski

Clementine "Clara" Michalowski, age 98, died Wednesday, December 17, 2008 at her home in Whitehouse Station, NJ.She was born in Poland on December 5, 1910 and immigrated to the United States in 1934.She had resided in Paterson before moving to Whitehouse Station 60 years ago.Clara was an assembly line worker employed by RCA, Corp. of Bridgewater for20 years before retiring.She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station and was a member of the churchs Altar Rosary Society and Senior Citizens Group. She was a member of the Polish American Citizens Club in Whitehouse Station and the Readington Township Senior Citizens.Clara was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Michalowski, who died in 1985.She is survived by 10 nieces and nephews and 14 great nieces and nephews all in Poland;a nephew, Alfred Peters and his wife, Doris, of Jonesboro, GA; 3 great nieces, June Peters ofRockville, MD, Caroline Holbrook and Christine ORourke both of Jonesboro, GA; and 2 greatnephews, Neil Peters of La Mesa, CA and Ross Peters of San Diego, CA.A funeral liturgy will be held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station on Saturday,December 20, 2008 at 9:00 A.M. Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 3-6 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway, Whitehouse.Interment will be at St. Bernards Cemetery, Bridgewater.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, the Polish American Citizens Club, or Hunterdon Hospice.
