Obituary of Sophia M Dickhut

Sophia M Dickhut, age 95 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at the Hunterdon Care Center in Flemington, NJ.Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna Kiziukiewicz.Formerly of Point Pleasant and Matawan, NJ, she was a resident of Springhill, Florida for 25 years before moving to Whitehouse Station 7 years ago.Sophia was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station and of the Hunterdon Senior Citizens Club in Flemington.She was pre-deceased by her husband, Clarence Dickhut in 1988 and her son Francis J. Dickhut in 1983.Sophia is survived by her brother, Jack Kiziukiewicz of Roselle Park, her six grandchildren, Scott Roberts of Lebanon, NJ; Alicia Israel of Easton, PA; Mark Dickhut of Wildwood, NJ; Curtis Dickhut of Mt. Effort, PA; Kim Dickhut of Chicago, IL and Derek Dickhut of Nazareth, PA. She is also survived by her 5 great grandchildren, Lindsay, April, Lauren, Carter and Caroline.A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, January 12, 2009 at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station.Friends may visit with the family on Sunday from 6:00 9:00 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.Burial will be at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia.For more information or to send condolences, please visit www.kearnsfuneralhome.com
