Obituary of Annabelle Munford

Annabelle Munford, age 84 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Friday, January 9, 2009 at the Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ.Born in Greenfield, IN, she was the daughter of the late Russell and the Martha Bratton.She was a resident of Indianapolis, IN and South Jersey before moving to Whitehouse Station eight years ago.In her earlier years, Ann participated in Community Theatre and loved to dance and entertain in her home. She continued to be a zealous sports fan and enjoyed bird watching, and crocheting.She was pre-deceased by her husband, Bernard in 1982 and by her son, Terrence in 1970.Ann is survived by her devoted daughter, Debbie Elser and her husband, Scott of Whitehouse Station, her cherished grandchildren, Ryan and Kevin Elser of Whitehouse Station, her daughter-in-law, Regina Abbot of Greenville, Delaware and her sister, Maxine Wills of Indianappolis. Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, January 17, 2009 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM with a memorial service at 3:00 PM.In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org, Support American Veterans at www.supportveterans.org or the American Vets National Service Foundation at www.amvetsnsf.org .Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Kearns Funeral Home, Ltd., Whitehouse.
