Obituary of Nunzie L DeLorenzo

Nunzie "Duke " L. DeLorenzoHusband, Father, Grandfather, 96Duke DeLorenzo of Branchburg, NJ passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2009. Born March 25, 1912 in Newark, NJ, he lived in Elizabeth for many years before moving to Branchburg in 1997. A truck driver for many years, Duke enjoyed his retirement since the age of 62. Duke was a veteran of WWII, a member of the DAV, NJ Teamsters Retiree Club, and the Branchburg Senior Citizens Club.He is survived by his beloved wife, Loretta (Buckley), his son, Ralph and his wife Debi, his grandchildren, Carolyn and Danny , his two sisters Pauline Barone and Rae Barone and many neices and nephews.Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, February 4, 2009 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ 08888. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, February 5, 2009 at 10:00 AM at St. Bernard Church, 500 Rt. 22, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
