Obituary of Robert Rittelman

Robert Rittelman, age 66 of Annandale, NJ, died Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ.Born in Newark, NJ he was the son of the late Christian and Rose Rittelman.Robert had lived in Union, Piscataway and Springfield before moving to Annandale 20 years ago. He was a Captain in the US Army during the Vietnam War and was a graduate of Rutgers University receiving a B.S. in business. Robert was a member of the Clinton Business Group and the Clinton Guild. He organized the classic car show in Clinton for the past four years. He was an avid fishing enthusiast and loved 50s duop music.Robert was the founder and co-operator of Dickens Lane Jewelers on East Main Street in Clinton for the past 14 years. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Deborah E. Rittelman, his daughter Denise K. Rusche and her husband Brent of Edison, NJ and his brother Alan Rittelman of Elizabeth, NJ.Friends may visit with the family on Saturday, February 7, 2009 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM and Sunday, February 8, 2009 from 2:00 - 4:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway Whitehouse, NJ 08888. A service will be held Sunday at 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
