Obituary of Freddie Benson

Fred Benson, age 61 of Kintnersville, PA., died Saturday, March 28, 2009 at home.Born in Morgantown, West Virginia, he was the son of James and Christina Benson Sr. of Whitehouse Station, NJ.Fred had lived in Asbury Park, Martinsville and Whitehouse before settling in Plantation, Fla. for the past 30 years. Last month he relocated to Kintnersville, PA.Fred served in the United States Air Force.He was a Supervisor for US-Airways in Ft. Lauderdale, FL until his retirement four years ago.Fred was pre-deceased by his sister, Shirley Lee Benson and brother, Timothy R. Benson.Besides his parents, Fred is survived by his brother, James Benson Jr. and his wife Debra of Mehoopany, PA and his sister, Patty Giovino, and her husband Al of Kintnersville. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Graham, A.J, Nikki, Shelley, Amy, Ellie, Audrey and his two great-nephews, Dominic and Micah.Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 from 7 -9 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway, Whitehouse, NJ.All funeral services will be private.In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to Whitehouse United Methodist Church, PO Box 190, Whitehouse, NJ.For more information or to send condolences please visit www.kearnsfuneralhome.com
