Obituary of Phyllis Booth

Phyllis Booth, age 73 of Bridgewater, NJ, died Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at the Somerset Medical Center in Somerville, NJ.Born in Ironton, Ohio she was the daughter of the late William and Blanche Callicoat.Phyllis had resided in Ohio and then Somerville before moving to Bridgewater seven years ago.She was a registered nurse employed by Somerset Medical Center for 18 years before her retirement.Phyllis had a love for life and was an avid ballroom dancer for over 10 years.She was a member of the Oldwick Lutheran Church.Phyllis was pre-deceased by her first husband, Donald William Bailey in 1959 and her second husband, Donald B. Booth in 1998. She was also pre-deceased by her four brothers, Harold, Carter, Dale and Garland Callicoat and four of her sisters, Othella Dornon, Thelma Wilson, Rose Anderson, and Wilma Wilson.She is survived by her son, Donald Bailey and his wife, Sue of Shamong, NJ; her sisters, Betty Joe Vining of Delaware, Ohio and Olena Wilson of Pedro, Ohio; her sisters-in-law, Carol Breinicn and her husband, Phil and Elaine Carnegis and her husband, George. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Keith, Don and Christina and two great-grandchildren, Aaron and Riley Jean.A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, June 27, 2009 at 10:00 AM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway, Whitehouse, NJ 08888.Friends may visit with the family on Friday, June 26 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.Burial will be in New Germantown Cemetery, Joliet Street, Oldwick, NJ.In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Steeplechase Cancer Center c/o Somerset Medical Center Foundation, 110 Reehill Ave., Somerville, NJ 08876.For more information or to send condolences please visit www.kearnsfuneralhome.com
