Obituary of Josephine Wance

Josephine Wance, age 79 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Twp., NJ.Born in Elizabeth, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Lillian Kakol. She had lived in South Plainfield for over forty years before moving to Whitehouse Station in 1995. Josephine worked for Impact Exhibits in Dayton, NJ in the accounts payable department before retiring in 1995.She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. She was a charter member of the Hunterdon Wellness Center in Whitehouse and belonged to the Readington Seniors and the Lourdes Seniors. One of Josephine's favorite pastimes was to shop.She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Wance who died in 1993 and her brother, Louis Kakol. Josephine is survived by her son, Michael Wance and his wife, Christine of Readington and her daughter, Carol Lytwyn and her husband, Peter of Easton, PA. She is also survived by her five grandchildren, Alex, Zachary and Tyler Lytwyn and Nicholas and Courtney Wance. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station.Friends may visit with the family on Friday from 6:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Whitehouse Rescue Squad, P.O.
