Obituary of Margaret Mary Stanley

Margaret Mary "Meg" Stanley, 42, of Fort Madison, IA, passed away on Saturday, November 28, 2009 at the Ft. Madison Community Hospital. She was born on December 10, 1966 in Jersey City, New Jersey to Eugene and Dolores Duggan Stanley. She grew up in Whitehouse Station and lived in the area, until moving to Fort Madison 8 years ago. Meg was a 1984 graduate of Hunterdon Central High School in Flemington and a graduate of Jersey City State College. She worked in the telecommunications field, within the sales and installation divisions.Meg loved fishing, playing pool, cooking and football. She was also a passionate Yankee's fan. She was preceded in death by her Mother and brother, Kevin. Survivors include her father, Eugene "Gene" Stanley of Whitehouse Station, NJ; sisters, Christine Stanley and Joyce Rocko of Rehoboth Beach, DE and Lorraine Stanley of Scotch Plaines, NJ; brother, John Stanley and his wife Becky of South Riding, VA, companion, Kim Remally of Ft. Madison, IA. She also leaves her nieces and nephews, Lauren, Shannon, Brenna, Meghan, Elise, Kevin Smart and Donte Kane Daniels. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 4, 2009 at 9:30 A.M. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station.Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28,Whitehouse.
