Obituary of Eric G. Blassneck

Eric Blassneck Jr., 41, of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died January 6, 2010 in Morristown Memorial Hospital in Morristown, NJ, after a brief and sudden illness. He was born in Kearny, NJ and lived in Whitehouse Station for the past 8 years. He was an avid runner, and a member of the South Plainfield Curling Club. He was a coach for his son's soccer and basketball teams. He will be sadly missed by his many friends and family, and remembered for his sharp wit and great sense of humor. He is survived by his wife, Claudia; his son, Gregory; his parents, Eric and Annemarie Blasneck of Bridgewater; his sisters, Erika, Marianne, and Nancy; his brother, Robert; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Services will be held at the Readington Reformed Church, 124 Readington Road, Readington, NJ, on Saturday, January 9 at 11:00 am. Private internment will be held at a later date.
