Obituary of Ann Marie Kiever

Ann Marie (Stiger) Kiever, age 85, died June 1, 2010 at Rolling Hills Care Center. Born in Nanticoke PA, she was the daughter of the late Mary (Stiger) Uhde and James Goodwin. She married her Marine and high school sweetheart, the late Robert P Kiever Sr., on June 1, 1946 after his return from the war. Ann Marie was a devoted wife, who enjoyed over 58 years of love and marriage. She raised her family in Readington and Raritan Borough before moving to Whitehouse Station. Ann Marie was a passionate seamstress and gardener. Above all, she loved sharing her time and energy with family and friends. Ann Marie was pre-deceased by her husband, Robert Sr., her son, Kyle Kiever and her brother, John Uhde. She is survived by her son, Robert "Bud" Jr. and wife Grace of Whitehouse Station, daughter-in-law, Sue Kiever of Bridgewater, and four loving grandchildren, Catherine, Alexis, Robert III and Samantha. She is also survived by her brother, Gerald Uhde of Elizabeth. Friends may visit with her family on Friday, June 4, 2010 from 7-9 P.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations to Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
