Lillian Mae Stepanchuk
Whitehouse Station- Lillian Mae Stepanchuk, died Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at home, she was 90. Born in Readington Township, September 20, 1919, she was the daughter of the late Clark and Lena Davis Miller. She resided in Whitehouse Station most of her life and for a short period of time in Flemington, before moving back to Whitehouse Station.
She worked in a sewing factory before marrying and becoming a homemaker for many years. She later worked for Parker Greenhouse and Jefferson Smurfit, formerly known as Quality Packaging, before retiring.
Lillian was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Walter Stepanchuk, Sr., her four sisters, Malvina Sadorski, Mabel Elizabeth Miller, Ruth Miller and Frances Fretz; and her five brothers, Clark Peter Miller, Norman Joseph Miller, William Ryman Miller, Chester Miller and Walter Miller.
She is survived by her two sons, Walter Stepanchuk, Jr. and his wife, Karen and Douglas Stepanchuk and his wife, Joann both of Whitehouse Station, and her daughter, Yvonne Carswell and her husband, Kenneth C. of Milford; her brother, Robert Miller of Flemington; her two granddaughters, Shawna Rupert and her husband, Scott of Nazareth, PA, and Jennifer Ann Tripp of Mooresville, NC; her grandson, Douglas Stepanchuk, Jr. of Whitehouse Station; her great-grandson, Preston Collin Klesat of Mooresville, NC and her great-granddaughter, Savannah Rupert of Nazareth, PA.
A funeral service will be held on Sunday at 11:00 A.M. at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
Friends may visit with the family on Saturday from 6:00 to 9:00 pm.
Interment will be in Rural Hill Cemetery, Whitehouse.
