Obituary of John R. Higgins

Bath, PA John R. Higgins, age 67, died Friday, August 27, 2010 in Bath, PA. He was born and grew up in Whitehouse, NJ and had lived in Easton, PA before moving to Bath 14 years ago. John was a handyman and grounds keeper for several golf courses in the Pennsylvania area. He was predeceased by his mother, Mable Sue Schneider, his son, Jeffrey C. Higgins and his sister, Loralyn Joan Thompson. John is survived by his partner, Sandy Gartin, his children, Sue Lynn Higgins of Mardela, MD, Janette Higgins of Lewis, DE and John R. Higgins Jr. of Mississippi and 11 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister, Faith Higgins Mitchell of Vero Beach, FL. A graveside service will be held on Friday, September 3, 2010 at 1:00 PM in Newell Cemetery, Stanton, NJ.
