Obituary of Grace Sorice

Grace Sorice, age 82 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Friday, October 8, 2010 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Nunzio and Sabina Miraval. Grace had lived in Port Washington, Long Island before moving to Whitehouse Station in 1990. She worked for the Port Washington school district as an administrative secretary for 20 years before retiring in 1990. Grace loved to quilt and belonged to the Court House Quilters in Union Twp. She and her husband, Michael spent the winter months in Vero Beach, FL. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station and a member of the Lourdes Seniors. Besides her husband, Michael of 53 years, Grace is survived by her daughters, Diane Bowser of Morristown and Nancy Ottaviano of Placientia, CA. She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Wiedmaier and Susan Cartier and her 4 precious grandchildren. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, from 2:00 to 5:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
