Obituary of Albert Rayburn, Jr.

Albert Rayburn, Jr., age 81 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Monday, October 25, 2010 at his home. Born in Columbus, OH, he was the son of the late Albert and Clara Rayburn. He had lived in Whitehouse Station for the last 56 years. Albert was decorated Korean War Veteran. He drove for the Greyhound Bus Company on the Philadelphia and New York City lines before retiring in 1984. He was a former member of the Hunterdon County Quilting Guild, the Easton Couture, the Readington Fire Company and the Ring Neck Gun Club. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Gay Nell Rayburn, his sons, Tom Rayburn and his wife, Tracy of Port Murray, NJ; Scott Rayburn and his wife Monica of Ocean Springs, MS and Henry Ansback of Phillipsburg, NJ and his daughter, Linda Riddle and her husband, Gene of Raleigh, NC. He is also survived by his 5 grandchildren, TJ Rayburn, Christopher and Bryan Rayburn, Victoria Lelonek and Leslie Riddle and his great grandchild, Keona Lelonek. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2010 at 11:00 AM at the Readington Reformed Church, 124 Readington Road, Readington. In lieu of flowers the family has requested memorial donations to the Hunterdon Regional Cancer Center, 2100 Wescott Drive, Flemington, NJ 08822.
