Obituary of Agnes (Betty) Pellechio

Agnes E. Pellechio, (Betty) age 87, died Sunday, January 2, 2011 at her home in Whitehouse Station, NJ. Born in Raritan, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William and Josephine Hunt. Betty grew up in Raritan where she lived until moving to Whitehouse Station 58 years ago. She was an inspector and swager at Ehicon for 15 years, retiring 18 years ago. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station and was a former 4th grade C.C.D. teacher. Betty enjoyed crocheting and her garden, where she grew one of her favorite flowers, the peony. She also loved to cook and bake. Her family was so important to her and her grandchildren where the light of her life. Betty was predeceased by her husband, Domenick Pellechio who died in 1972, her daughter, Diane in 1946 and her brother, Francis in 1992. She is survived by her 2 loving daughters, Linda Bergen of Whitehouse Station, and Brenda and her husband, Edward Omilian also of Whitehouse Station; her brothers, William Hunt Jr. of Readington and Donald Hunt of Melbourne, FL. She is also survived by of her three grandchildren, Robert and his wife Denise Bergen, Jennifer Tourjee and her husband Joel and Jason Omilian. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. Friends may visit with the family on Wednesday, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
