Obituary of Janet A. Hatton

Janet A. Hatton, age 76 of Whitehouse Station, NJ. died Monday, March 14, 2011 at home, peacefully, surrounded by her family. Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Frank P. and Mary Gage. Janet had lived in Chatham before moving to Whitehouse Station 47 years ago. Janet was a homemaker and very involved with her Children's activities. She was a den mother, basebal team mother and helped start a 4-H sewing club. She put a lot of miles on her car driving her children to all of their activities. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. She was predeceased by her brother, Frank Gage. Janet is survived by her daughter, Debora A. White and her husband, Rodney of New Brunswick and her son, Raymond E. Hatton and his wife, Maggie of Whitehouse Station and her 3 special grandchildren, Samantha, Billy and Josie Hatton. She is also survived by 2 brothers, Robert Gage and his wife, Jean of Merideth, NH and Richard Gage and his wife Carol of Wayne, PA and several nieces and nephews. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 18, 2011 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. Burial will be in Rural Hill Cemetery, Whitehouse.
