Obituary of Robert Mabee

Robert Mabee, age 53 of East Bangor, PA., died Saturday, March 12, 2011 suddenly at his home. Born in Denville, NJ, he was the son of the late Arthur and Ida Mabee. He was raised by the late Robert and Ruth Shotwell. Bob grew up in Chester and lived in Long Valley before moving to Bangor, PA, 15 years ago. He was an automobile mechanic for Good Year Tires in Long Valley for 15 years before joining STS Tires in Flemington where he worked for 12 years. Bob was predeceased by his stepsister, Sandy. He is survived by his good friend and companion, Joan Spencer of Bangor, his brother, Arthur and sisters, Margie and Rebecca. He is also survived by his stepsister, Rosie, his stepsons, Daniel, Robert and Barry and his grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda and Cassandra. A visitation was held on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. At the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway, Whitehouse. Cremation will be private. A memorial service will be held at a later date. .
