Obituary of Beverly J. Shields

Beverly J. Shields, age 74 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Friday, September 23, 2011 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Gerard and Elizabeth Bakelaar. She had lived in West Orange before moving to Whitehouse 6 years ago. She was a clerk, for CNA Insurance Company in Cranbury, NJ before retiring. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Lori Rastelli and her husband, Gerard of Whitehouse Station and her 2 grandchildren, Connor and Celia Rastelli. She is also survived by her 2 brothers, Robert Bakelaar of Mahwah and George Bakelaar of Maplewood. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, September 26th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Rural Hill Cemetery.
