Obituary of James K. Campbell

James K. Campbell, 86, of Oldwick, NJ, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 after a short illness. He was born April 11, 1925 in Geneva, IL and lived in St. Charles until retiring to Los Osos, CA. in 1987. He moved to Oldwick in June of 2010. He was an Army veteran of WWII. He worked as Sales Manages at Paymaster Corporation in Chicago for 40+ years before retiring to CA. He enjoyed life, family, friends, dancing, gardening, animals and going to church. He was preceded in death on March 2, 2005 by his beloved wife of 58 years, Edna. He will be greatly missed by his son, Craig and daughter-in-law, Goldie, whom he lived with. He will also be missed by his three granddaughters, Beth Panageotou of MD, Rebecca Campbell and Heather Trent of NJ, his two great granddaughters, Sophia and Maia of MD, his brother, Norman of NC and sisters, Charlene Coltharp and Esther Walbert of IL and his dog Taffy. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 11, 2011 at 11:00AM at the Zion Lutheran Church in Oldwick. A service will also be held at the Calvary Lutheran Church in Morro Bay, CA, with date and time to be announced. James will be laid to rest by his wife Edna.
