Obituary of Julianne S. Baranski

Julianne S. Baranski, age 96, of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Thursday, October 20, 2011 at the Margaret McLaughlin McCarrick Care Center in Franklin Twp., NJ. Born in NYC, NY, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Josephine Szablowski. Julie lived in Whitehouse Station most of her life. She was a bookkeeper for over 30 years working for several different businesses. She retired from the Magic Shop in Oldwick in 2000. Julie was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station and was a member of the choir for many years. She continued singing in the choir till the age of 86. She was the Past Treasurer of the Altar Rosary Society and the Polish American Citizens Club. Julie was also a member of the Lourdes Seniors and the Readington Seniors. She was predeceased by her husband, Leon V. Baranski who died in 2004. Julie is survived by her niece and nephew and grandnephew. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Friends may visit with the family on Sunday, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Somerset Medical Center Foundation, Neuroscience Pavilion Center, 110 Rehill Ave., Somerville, NJ 08876 ( www.somersetmedicalcenter.com/edwardandanitahogan) or Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 390 County Road 523, Whitehouse Station, NJ 08889. Burial will be in St. Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater.
