Obituary of Tim R. Wright

Timothy (Tim) R. Wright, age 64 of Readington Twp., NJ, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at his home. Born in Eau Claire, WI, he was the son of the late Robert Wright and Christine Wright of Liverpool, NY. Tim lived in Hamilton Square before moving to Readington Twp. in 1988. He was a teacher and Supervisor of Social Studies at South Brunswick High School for 38 years before retiring in June of 2010. He was a dedicated coach at the School for both the boys and girls tennis teams for 19 years. Tim was also the Supervisor of Student Teachers at the College of New Jersey and was an adjunct Professor of psychology at Kean University. He was very active in the Boy Scouts and was a Scout Leader for 9 years with Troop 1969 in Stanton. Besides his mother, Christine, Tim is survived by his wife of 23 years, Lauren (Sweatt) Wright and his two sons, Nicholas Robert and Jeremy Timothy both at home. He is also survived by his brother, Bruce Wright of New Market, NH and his sister, Cathy Cooper of Baldwinsville, NY. The Wright family would like to thank you for enriching Tim's life. His journey was short but ever so sweet for this lovely man. Friends may visit with the family on Monday, December 5, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. In Tim's honor a life celebration service will be held in the summer of 2012.
