Obituary of Warren F. Melligan

Warren F. Melligan, age 86 formerly of Whitehouse, died Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the Praxis Alzheimer's Facility in Easton, PA. Born in Glen Gardner, NJ, he was the son of the late Harvey and Naomi Melligan. He graduated from Hampton High School in 1942 and played on the High School's Varsity baseball team. He worked for the United States Postal Service in the Eastern Area Supply Center. He served in the 463rd Army Air Force Base Unit during WWII. He was a radio operator, mechanic and gunner. In 1947 Warren married Alice Jean Kiley. They had 16 wonderful years together before Alice's death in 1963. Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Musconetcong Valley Cemetery in Hampton.
