Obituary of Claudia Daly

Claudia A. Daly, the beloved wife of the late Ira W. Daly, died on December 16th. Claudia was born in Paterson NJ on March 9, 1912. She was the daughter of John and Jane Menton of Madison. Claudia was predeceased by her husband, Ira, her daughters, Claudia Daly and Maureen McMahon and her seven siblings; Evelyn Guerrier, Margaret Crowley, Jean Smithing, Sister Grace Menton, Jane Menton, and Charles and Bill Menton. Claudia is survived by her beloved daughter, Eileen Brennan and her husband, John (Hamilton, NJ) and by her son, Ira W. Daly and his wife, Patricia (Lebanon, NJ). Claudia is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly. Claudia grew up in Paterson and Madison; she resided in Whippany for 53 years and most recently resided in Clinton Township. Claudia spent her lifetime devoted to her family. She worked in the electronics industry for Measurements Inc. in Mountain Lakes during World War II, where she met her husband, and later for State Electronics in East Hanover. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, Annandale. Friends may visit with the family on Monday from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
