Obituary of Cathy Hill

Mary Catherine Hill, (Cathy) age 89 of Norman, OK, formerly of Readington Twp., died Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Grace Living Center in Norman, OK. Born in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of the late John and Eleanor Habig. After completing High School, she attended Ursaline Academy Business School, and upon graduation in 1940, she worked in the legal field. She was married to George E. Hill from 1946 until his death in 1994. After their marriage, Cathy lived in Somerville for 22 years and then in Readington Twp. for 40 years before moving to Norman 3 ½ years ago. She was an active member of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. The Catholic Church, her faith and family were extremely important to her. Cathy is survived by her three sons, Bruce E. and wife, Carolyn of Denver, CO; Brian C. and wife, Doreen of Califon; and Brady H. and Nanci Angle of Hopewell; her daughter, Barbara Farley of Norman OK; her brother, John Habig and wife, Jean of Pennington, and her sisters, Jean Clarken of FL and Helen Roque of Rhode Island. She is also survived by granddaughters, Katherine, Rebecca, and Megan; and grandson Lance and wife, Stacy; two great grandchildren, Marissa and Gracie; and many nieces, nephews, and loving friends. She was predeceased by her 2 grandchildren, Lisa and Michael. Friends may visit with the family on Friday, February 3, 2012 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station. Burial will be in Newell Cemetery, Stanton.
