Obituary of Francis L Konzelman

Francis L. Konzelman, 79, of Whitehouse Station, entered into eternal life Saturday, March 10, 2012 at the Hunterdon Medical Center after a short illness. He was born and raised in Bayonne, NJ on October 27, 1932 to the late Adolf and Mary Konzelman. Francis served in the US Army from 1954-1956. He was a graduate of Seton Hall University. He was a chemist for Airco/BOC Labs in Murray Hill, NJ for over forty years. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 39 years, Virginia; his devoted children, Francis L. Konzelman Jr. and Sue Schrader of Piscataway, Debra Lowe of Gilbert, AZ, Carol Barboni and partner Michelle Ford of New Hope, PA, Brian and Mark Konzelman of Lake Hopatcong, Gail Beard and husband Greg of Phoeniz, AZ; his loving grandchildren Beth Beardsley, Jennifer Pinedo, Laura Duffield, Lori and Elizabeth Barboni, April and Mitchel Beard, Chris Schrader; his cherished great grandsons, Nathaniel and Gabriel Beardsley; his brother Leroy Konzelman and wife Mercedes of Nokomis, FL. Frank enjoyed spending time with his family. He was an avid fisherman who enjoyed boating and fishing in local streams and reservoirs. Once a resident of Forked River, NJ, he also enjoyed trips to the beach and salt water fishing. Frank was a cherished man who will be deeply missed. Funeral arrangements are private and have been entrusted to the Kearns Funeral Home in Whitehouse NJ. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hunterdon Medical Center Foundation.
