Obituary of Frank A. Omilian

Francis A. Omilian, age 85, of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Monday, March 19, 2012 at the Hunterdon Medical Center in Flemington, NJ. Born in Jersey City, he was the son of the late Francis J. and Anna Omilian. He was a resident of Whitehouse Station for 43 years. Frank was an Army Veteran of WWII. He was a Mechanical Engineer for BOC Gases in Murray Hill, NJ. He worked in the Cryogenics Engineering Department for 50 years before retiring. He was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Whitehouse Station. He belonged to the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and was a member of the Polish American Citizens Club where he had served as president. Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Helen Omilian; his sons, Michael Omilian and his wife, Diane of Burlington, NJ, Frank Omilian and his wife, Bonnie of Whitehouse Station and his daughter, Patricia Hoffman and her husband, Fred of Annandale, NJ. He is also survived by his brother, Edward Omilian and his wife, Brenda of Whitehouse Station and his 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, from 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse. Entombment will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Annandale.
