Obituary of Carolyn Reitter

Carolyn Reitter, 70 of Lebanon, N.J. passed away on Sunday May 13, 2012. A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 10:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale. A viewing will be held on Friday, May 18, 2012 from 1:00 to 3PM and 6:00 to 9PM at Immaculate Conception Church. She was born in Flushing, N.Y. and lived there until she moved to Chatham Township, N.J. She attended St. Patrick's Elementary School and Chatham High School. She went on to attend Assumption College in Mendham, N.J. Carolyn was an active member of Immaculate Conception Parish. She led a scripture study group, directed a choir, was a Eucharistic Minister, a retreat leader and a Spiritual Director. Carolyn helped start many faith based ministries. She was a beloved wife and mother and is survived by her husband of 43 years, Ed, three children; Mark, Dolores and Matthew, eleven grandchildren and her brother, Ron Reutter. She will be missed by many for her generous, caring spirit and her friendliness. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
