Obituary of Donna R. Fischer

Donna Lee (Riordan) Fischer of Tewksbury Twp. died Wednesday, June 13, 2012 after a short illness. Born in Buffalo, NY she lived in the Morris County area for over 25 years before relocating to Tewksbury two years ago. She was a graduate of D'Youville College in Buffalo and was employed by New York Telephone, where she met her husband, and then devoted herself to raising her two sons. She worked at the Clarkstown (NY) Junior High School library and assisted in her sons' many endeavors, including scouting, athletics and academics. She was the loving wife of 52 years of John F. Fischer; and the mother of two sons, John, Jr., wife Kathy, and Patrick, wife Nora. Donna is also survived by eight Cherished grandchildren, John III, Ryan, Patrick, Mary, Erin, Michael, Megan and Daniel and her brother, Denis, from Williamsville, NY. Friends may visit on Saturday, June 16 from 2 - 4 PM or Sunday, June 17 from 2 - 4 PM at Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse, NJ. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 18th at 10:30 AM at Immaculate Conception Church, 316 Old Allerton Road, Annandale, NJ 08801.
