Obituary of Jacqueline (Jackie) Brannan
Jacqueline Brannan, age 76 of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Morristown Memorial Hospital.
Born in Whitehouse on September 20, 1935 she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Sophie Roche, Jr. She lived in Whitehouse Station all of her life.
Jackie was a school bus driver for 43 years. She retired after many years of driving for the Readington Township School System.
She was a past member of the Whitehouse Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary in Whitehouse Station. She was a member of the Women's NJ Bowling Association and was the secretary of the Wednesday Night Ladies Bowling League. Jackie was also a member of the Readington Township Senior Citizens Club and the Rockaway Reformed Church.
Jackie was pre-deceased by her son, Edwin R. Brannan and her brother, Edwin Roche.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Bruce Brannan, her son, Bruce Jr. of Whitehouse Station, her daughter, Cheryl Howell and her husband, John Barry of New Smyrna Beach, FL, her brother, Vincent Roche, III and his wife, Denna of Whitehouse Station, her sister-in-law, Linda Zack and her husband, George of Glen Gardner, her brother-in-law, Robert Brannan and his wife, Bonnie of Glendale, AZ, her sister-in-law, Marion Roche of Barnegat, NJ as well as several nieces and nephews.
A service will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
Friends may visit with the family on Tuesday from 4:00 - 7:00 PM at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Rural Hill Cemetery, Whitehouse.
