Obituary of Virginia A. Kutiak
Virginia Ann Kutiak of Whitehouse Station, died on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at Rolling Hills Care Center in Lebanon. She was 81.
Born in Three Bridges, NJ on May 11, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Adam and Josephine Samuel. She was a lifelong resident of Whitehouse Station and had been residing with her daughter, Carol and son-in-law, Kenny Van Hooser.
Virginia belonged to the Readington Seniors, Our Lady of Lourdes Seniors and the American Legion Post 284. She loved to bake especially polish dishes and desserts. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother. In her free time she made homemade quilts and other items such as stuffed toys.
She was predeceased by her son, Adam F. Kutiak Jr., her husband, Adam F. Kutiak Sr. and her two brothers and four sisters.
Virginia leaves behind a loving and supportive family: her daughter, Carol Ann Kutiak Van Hooser and her husband, Kenneth. Her grandsons whom she adored, Allan R. Layton of Flemington, Michael J. Layton and his wife, Amy of Stockton, Adam F. Layton of Whitehouse and her two cherished great-grandsons, Gavin and Stanley of Stockton. She is also survived by her brother, Frank Samuel of PA and her sisters, Florence Samuel of Frenchtown and Grace Hashim of FL.
A funeral liturgy will be celebrated on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Whitehouse Station.
Friends and relatives may visit with the family on Sunday, July 22, 2012 from 2:00 - 6:00 PM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway 28, Whitehouse.
Burial will be in Saint Bernard's Cemetery, Bridgewater.
