Obituary of Adele Sitler

Catherine Adele Sitler, of Whitehouse Station, NJ, died peacefully Wednesday Aug. 22, 2012 in her home, surrounded by her family; she was 80. Born 9/1/1931 in New Castle Pa., she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Cooper. She lived in Youngstown, Ohio before moving to Whitehouse Station 48 years ago. She was employed at Shutrump & Associates in Youngstown, Ohio as a Construction Site Coordinator before moving to Whitehouse Station. She was employed for 40 years at Johnson & Johnson with Ortho-Clinical Diagnostics in Raritan, NJ. She received many of the company's quality and project management awards during her tenure there. She also received the "Who's Who" of American Business Women. Adele was a member of St.Thomas Episcopal Church in Pittstown, NJ. She was an Eastern Star Member of the Miriam Chapter 278 of the Masonic Temple for 60 years. She was predeceased by her husband Lowell this past June. Adele is survived by her son, Richard E. Frondorf II of Brodheadsville, Pa, and her daughter, Catherine Kagan of Easton, Pa. She is also survived by her 3 step-daughters; Karla Wood, Laurel Ducay, Roma Papania, 2 grandsons, 4 step-grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Robert E. Cooper of Erie Pa. A funeral service will be held on Monday Aug. 27, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Kearns Funeral Home, 103 Old Highway, Whitehouse, NJ. Friends and relatives may visit with the family at the funeral home on Sunday Aug. 26, 2012 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM. Burial will be in Rural Hill Cemetery, Whitehouse, NJ.
